WHY YOU SHOULD SWITCH FROM LIQUIDS TO SOLIDS

We know a lot of people are a little hesitant to try a solid dish soap, thinking it might be a little more difficult to use it. But once you grab a brush and gather some lather off of your soap bar to scrub some dishes, you will become hooked! You'll also have peace of mind knowing that for every two blocks of soap you use is preventing up to six plastic bottles from ever entering our oceans.

35 BILLION plastic bottles every year.

Only about 25% of the plastic produced in the U.S. is recycled. And guess how many companies are responsible for the plastic bottles produced? A handful. At least 8 million tons of plastic end up in our oceans every year. Not cool at all. Floating plastic debris is currently the most abundant form of marine litter. This plastic waste makes up 80% of all marine debris from surface waters to deep-sea sediments.

HOW DO TWO SOLID BARS REPLACE six PLASTIC BOTTLES?

What you should know about plastic pollution

By 2050 it is projected that there will be more plastic than fish in the ocean (by weight).

Tens of thousands of marine animals are killed every year from plastic bag litter when they mistake plastic bags for food such as jellyfish.

Plastic is linked to cancers, impaired immunity, endocrine disruption and other ailments.

Exposure to plastic can impact fertility, pregnancy, and can affect the fetus by interfering with testosterone, disrupting normal sexual development.

This disruption is not often apparent until adulthood and includes the increased risk of cancer.
